Flowchart of this study. A total of 10,060 patients subjected to tooth extractions at the Department of Periodontology, Seoul National University Dental Hospital were identified throughout chart review. A total of 574 extraction sites were eligible for this study that met inclusion criteria. The number of extraction sites without ARP was 277, and the number of extraction sites with ARP was 297. Finally, 171 of the 277 extraction sites in the no ARP group and 247 of the 297 extraction sites in the ARP group received implant placement
